Ever been on a committee? Ever chaired a committee? Trying to organize a fund-raising event to help beleaguered Randolphsburgh, PA, with only three weeks remaining until the gala, everything is going wrong. Committee members - the flirtatious former cheerleader, avid gardener, school band director, hypochondriacal shoe salesman and pistol packing storekeeper - find themselves having to turn to the town's most hated citizen to avoid possible legal action and total embarrassment.
