Bari isn't exactly living her best life. Back at her parents' home in upstate New York, she wastes away at a mind-numbing job selling Tibetan-themed tchotchkes. She's also working on a dissertation that seems to be going nowhere. As if she didn't have enough misery on her plate, Bari begins to suffer from really awful headaches. Will her well-meaning co-workers get her out of her funk? Or will a blind date with a dude who makes art out of garbage be enough to shake things up?
