It's the late 1960s, and change is coming to the Mississippi Delta. Years after Brown v. Board of Education, the federal government is putting pressure on local schools to admit black students alongside white ones, and the controversy has turned the once-sleepy rural region into something resembling a warzone. Caught in the middle of the chaos are two white sisters, Nola and Nell, with very different opinions on whether their community should integrate or not. But Nola and Nell are in for the shock of a lifetime when they get a visit from their long-lost half-sister - an educated, well-to-do Northerner who also happens to be half black. As their worlds collide, the siblings struggle to rekindle the bonds of sisterhood in comic drama Split in Three, coming to Lawrenceville's Aurora Theatre.
