Experience a little Christmas magic in Frosty!, a musical re-telling of the classic Frosty the Snowman tale. When orphan Billy arrives in New York to build the best snowman ever, he meets a homeless man named Paddy, who tells him about his magical hat. When Billy steals the hat and places it atop his snowman, Frosty comes to life and leads him on an adventure throughout NYC. Paddy teams up with a social worker named Dot to find Billy and learn how special the holidays truly can be during this family friendly musical at Marietta's New Theatre in the Square.

Karol, a disillusioned social worker, is trudging home one cold December night when she encounters an old man sitting on a park bench. Mistaking him for homeless, Karol offers the stranger some food - a seemingly innocent gesture, until he turns up in her apartment claiming to be Santa Claus. Thanks to a malfunctioning security system, Karol finds herself trapped with "Mr. Claus" and forced to confront her feelings about Christmas once and for all in this touching musical battle between cynicism and belief.

Though London awaits the joyful arrival of Christmas, miserly Ebenezer Scrooge thinks it's all humbug, berating his faithful clerk and cheerful nephew for their view. Later, Scrooge encounters the ghost of his late business partner, who warns that three spirits will visit him this night. The ghosts take Scrooge on a journey through his past, present and future in the hope of transforming his bitterness.

The holiday sequel to the ART Station Southern hit GRITS: Girls Raised in the South centers on hilarious tales of holiday soirees and endearing family dysfunction. Four Southern "bells" from four different generations cope with their countrified Christmas celebrations. It's a little bit funny, a bit touching and somewhat ridiculous, but all in the flavor of the South. The play is guaranteed to get everyone in the Holiday Spirit!

Marietta's Theatre in the Square re-imagines O. Henry's holiday classic Gift of the Magi, setting the tale in Atlanta in the 1950s. This affecting adaptation centers around a local streetcar driver who's struggling to stay afloat during the Atlanta Transit strike. Christmas is around the corner, and the young man is determined to find a way to buy his wife the perfect gift, without realizing she's doing the same for him. Magi 2.0 tells the story of love, sacrifice and the blessings that we take for granted. Directed by Joel P.E. King and written by N. Emil Thomas, this award-winning take on the seasonal favorite has quickly become a beloved family tradition.

The Anderson Theatre is excited to partner with these two very special Cobb County organizations for what will be the biggest holiday show in the county. Along the way, he orchestrates a battle between a Nutcracker, a Rat King, dolls, mice, toy soldiers, and even cannons. But, with the help of Cindy Lou Who and the rest of Whoville, the ultimate grouch learns the true meaning of Christmas.
